Honoring our American Hero’s
Memorial Day is a U.S. federal holiday observed on the last Monday of May. It honors and mourns American military personnel who died while serving in the Armed Forces. On this day, people visit cemeteries and memorials, and volunteers place American flags on the graves of fallen service members.
